Cookies
No tracking cookies and no consent banner. Two small cookies exist: one only our own staff ever receive, and one that remembers a language you chose.

No tracking, no banner
We set no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies and no third-party trackers. That is why you were not asked to dismiss a consent dialog before reading this.
Under PECR, consent is required to store or access information on your device except where it is strictly necessary. We store nothing that needs it.
The one thing we do store
A single value in your browser's session storage, named wz.booted. It records that you have already seen the loading sequence so we do not show it again on every page.
It contains the character 1 and nothing else. It is not an identifier, it is never sent to our server, and your browser deletes it when you close the tab.
The staff cookie, and who gets it
Signing in to our own staff dashboard sets a cookie named wz_admin. It holds a signed session token, expires after thirty minutes, and is readable only by the server.
It is set only after someone signs in with a PIN and a second factor, so unless you work here you will never receive it. PECR treats a cookie that exists purely to keep someone signed in as strictly necessary, which is why it needs no consent.
The language cookie
The site is written in English and in Russian. If you move between the two with the EN / RU link at the top of the page, we set a cookie named wz_lang holding en or ru, so the next page you open is in the language you picked rather than the one your browser suggests.
It contains nothing else, lasts a year, and is only ever set when you click that link. A setting you ask for yourself counts as strictly necessary under PECR, so it needs no consent.
How the analytics work
We measure which pages are read and how far people get, but without identifying anyone and without storing anything on your device. Different visitors are counted with a scrambled code that changes every 24 hours, so we cannot tell whether visits on two different days came from the same person.
If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, nothing is recorded at all. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is stored.
Clearing it
The session value goes when you close the tab. The language cookie stays until it expires. To remove both at once, clear site data for this domain in your browser settings. Questions to contact@wazrdof.com.
