Bespoke CRM
A CRM shaped around your pipeline, for companies whose process the mainstream products cannot represent.
Most companies should use an off-the-shelf CRM. HubSpot and Pipedrive are good, they are inexpensive, and configuring one takes an afternoon. Start there.
A bespoke CRM earns its cost in narrower circumstances. When your sales process has stages the products have no concept of. When the data you track is specific to your industry and lives in six custom fields nobody maintains. When you have bent a generic CRM so far out of shape that nobody trusts what is in it.
There is a cheaper version of this problem worth ruling out first. Often the CRM is fine and the real gap is that it knows nothing about operations. In that case a layer connecting the two costs a fraction of a replacement.
What the work involves
Your pipeline, not a template
Stages, fields and rules that match how work actually moves through your business, including the steps that only apply sometimes.
Reporting that arrives finished
The numbers leadership asks for every month, produced without anyone assembling a spreadsheet the night before.
Joined to delivery
Most CRM frustration is really a gap between what sales promised and what operations knows. We close it rather than reporting around it.
Migration with the history intact
Existing records come across, deduplicated, with the correspondence and dates preserved. Cleaning the data is usually the longest part of the job.
Common questions
Is a bespoke CRM cheaper than Salesforce?
Rarely in year one, often by year three. A build has a capital cost up front and no per-seat licence afterwards. The calculation turns on headcount and on how much configuration and consultancy you are already paying for.
Could you extend our existing CRM instead?
Frequently, and it is usually the better answer. Building a layer on top of what you have costs less than replacing it and keeps the parts that already work.
How much does a bespoke CRM system cost?
From £25,000 for a system covering one team, and towards £55,000 or above for something several departments run on. Migration and integration are the two lines that move the number most.
What happens to our existing data?
It migrates. Where the old structure was inconsistent we agree the cleaning rules with you before anything moves, rather than making the decisions quietly.
